You meditate, pray and wish for answers to your questions then you wish, meditate and pray some more. You keep doing this day after day yet nothing changes and you still don’t know which direction to go or what decision to make. Why is it that you do this over and over but sometimes it doesn’t feel like you are receiving the answers? Whether your question begins with “how” “what” “why” or “when” if you have to keep asking, you are not paying attention to the answers you are already receiving!
We are constantly bombarded with information from every which way and it’s not always easy to pick out what is an answer and what is not. It is rare indeed to get hit with a lightening bolt from above but that doesn’t mean your questions are not being answered. Often times they are right in front of you; In fact many of the answers you seek are being answered by repeatedly showing you the lesson you wanted to learn until you finally clear enough energy to see it and finally say “by George I’ve got it! Thank you!”
One tried and true method I use is to actually ask for the answer to be so clear that you can’t and won’t miss it. If you ask that way be fully prepared to pay attention to everything around you. The answer is there and, I might add, may come in many forms.
It could be in the smile of the grocery store clerk, the name written on the truck passing by, a fleeting thought or a conversation you’ve overheard. The answer may lie in taking a different direction after an obstacle has momentarily blocked your way. If you feel like you are off track maybe you were actually directed to the right one!
Everything happens for a reason and there are no coincidences especially when it comes to praying and wishing. Perhaps the timing wasn’t right, there was more energy that needed to clear or you didn’t take back your energy from a very an energetically charged event from your past. Many things come into play so there is no right or wrong. Sometimes it’s more about being aware of the small answers which are very much like puzzle pieces. Eventually they will all fit together to form the big picture. Be patient the signs are there and answer will come if it isn’t there already.
If you still feel like you are not receiving your answers rather than asking for the answer, ask what it is you need to clear to receive the answer. It may be that you can’t have what it is you are asking for. Your answers lie in finding your truth and only you can do that. Do you really want the truth? Can you have the truth? Are you willing to let go of whatever it is you’re holding on to which prevents you from seeing or knowing the answer to your question?
Ask once then let it go!
Your answers lie within you but there are outside signs to direct you. Once you ask a question don’t wait for the lightening bolt because it probably won’t come. It also isn’t necessary to continually ask the same question because your answers are coming to you and all you need do is pay attention to them. The more you ask the more stuck you become on the question instead of seeing, knowing, hearing, feeling or allowing the answer! So dear friends a very wise man once said “Ask and you shall receive. Knock and the door will be opened.” Ask once, be patient and be aware of the answers you are already receiving! ~Shine Your Light Debbie
