The miracle of a container of oil that should have only lasted one day and burned for eight. A bright star lit the way for three wise men to witness a miracle birth. The miracle that the sun will shine & days become longer after the darkness of winter are some of the celebrations that go back thousands of years to mark the month of December.

No matter which holiday you celebrate, the common thread is MIRACLES & LIGHT! A miracle occurred and we honor those miracles by lighting a menorah, placing twinkling lights on a Christmas tree and to this day there are still winter solstice celebrations with bon fires. We may not think about each and every miracle as we illuminate our celebrations, but we look towards the light with hope and faith.

The “spirit of the season” is in the very air that surrounds us! This truly is a time to celebrate spirit. When you allow your own light to shine it is a miracle. YOU are a miracle to celebrate! It is the spark of spirit that lies within you that when allowed to shine in all its glory illuminates your path with clarity.

Even a tiny spark can grow into a bright beautiful flame. Where there is light there can be NO darkness for darkness simply CANNOT exist in the presence of light. Honor yourself and your spirit within! Embrace all that you are and all you are becoming. Celebrate the miracle of your own birth. Find your passion and follow your hearts desire. YOU TRULY ARE A MIRACLE TO BEHOLD!

Now, in the spirit of the season, I would like to honor YOU and the miracle that you are! I want to thank you for touching my life and inspiring me to continue my work. I’m grateful and feel blessed to have so many angels that walk the earth in my life.

Our connection whether it be in the physical or in spirit is greatly appreciated and brings light to my life as I hope I’m able to do for you. I would like to share with you something I received from one of my earth angels. Odo Tinteri is an Italian artist and wrote the words below. Although I am not the author of these beautiful wishes, they are my wishes for you as well. I have copied his message and not made any changes to the English translation:

“I wish you Health, which is the most precious thing. I wish you a smile with open arms to receive friendship, like the most beautiful flower, needs to be watered with the basin of the hands. I wish that the sun always enters your home window to illuminate your kind thoughts and that the wind brings away your fears and anxiety.

I wish that love embraces your soul in a continuing dance, remembering that love needs big eyes and careful ears….or else it disappears with the light of the day. I wish you the world and the will to look at it in the face with great pleasure…”

May you ignite your spark to create a flame that shines brightly upon the world! May you find an infinite abundance of peace within. May you access your passion and love so when illuminated, passion and love will find you!

The holidays are upon us and it is a sure bet that you are busy. You get wrapped up in your life much like gifts which are wrapped to go under a tree. The hustle and bustle of the holidays is also one of the most stressful times of the year. The thing about a wrapped present is that you can’t see what’s inside until you unwrap it. What looks pretty on the outside could very well be hurting on the inside or the really ugly, poorly wrapped present could very well be beautiful on the inside.

During this season keep in mind that many are hurting. They might lash out, be rude or even ignore you but it’s not because of you. They are wrapped up and maybe even trying to cover up their own pain. Whether it is emotional or physical, you might not be able to see it with your eyes so it is difficult to understand why someone acts or responds in a way you don’t think is proper. While in your own busy world this year why not share the spirit of the holidays by taking a moment to respond with love?!

Whether white, black, red, yellow, tall or short, gay, straight, bi, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist (or another religion), married, single, spiritual or not, Democrat, Republican or Independent whatever your beliefs or convictions are there are things which are true for all of us; We are all human beings and we all bleed red. We all have feelings and experience challenges and pain in our lives. Put aside your judgements or better yet, clear the energy of judgement altogether and spread a little joy and peace in the world!

It only takes a moment…

It only takes a moment of your valuable time to pick up the phone and call a friend or family member you haven’t seen or spoken to in a while. It only takes a moment of your time to smile at the homeless person you pass on the street. It only takes a moment to respond with love instead of hate. It only takes a moment to share a smile and say hello to connect with spirit. If someone has in your eyes ‘wronged’ you, it only takes a moment to forgive.

It only takes a moment to respond with love and compassion instead of resistance and anger. The choices you make, words you use and energy you put out at any given moment leave a lasting impression whether you realize it or not. You never really know another’s journey or what they are going through. How you respond can change someones day for the better and it only takes a moment to do it!

Peace on earth, goodwill toward humans is not just a holiday saying. Choosing to “become love itself” only takes a moment. Choosing to acknowledge another human spirit brings heaven to earth. Connect with your own spirit and decide what energy you’d like to generate in this world. It only takes a moment to shine your light which in turn allows others to do the same.
