Last night I had a weird, yet delightful, thing happen. A friend reached out for a last-minute reading. Towards the end of the reading a beautiful, blazing bright spirit came in.

The entire space was instantly transformed and I was quite aware of the healing that was happening for the readee. Even I experienced a profound shift; My dreary mood (from before I started the reading) turned into a space of pure joy and happiness. Pure spirit.

The second I hung up from the reading a song popped up (on my phone) and started playing without me hitting any buttons or opening iTunes. Also, I haven’t played this song in I don’t know how long.

The song? U2 Beautiful Day, one of my favorites! All I could do was look at the phone and say…yes, yes it IS a beautiful day!

A short time later the beautiful soul I read sent me a text thanking me for the reading so I took the opportunity to tell her about what happened.

Her response was “OMG! Every morning, Kate and I used to say “it’s another beautiful day!” even if it was rainy or cloudy… I feel like that was a direct hello from Kate to you!! (And to me). She often uses electronics to connect.” FYI: Kate is her life partner who transitioned several years ago.

We are all on a wonderful, magical journey but sometimes we forget our purpose and how we are able to create a positive “ripple effect” in the lives of others. We also need occasional reminders of the joy of being human as we move through our human experience.

I recently returned from a retreat in Mount Shasta. While on retreat I was not only reminded of my purpose but I had the opportunity to receive messages from the ascended masters to pass along. (Yes, being with a group of over 80 psychics is an experience!) I will share a bit of that wisdom here:

Those of you reading this are here at this time to help the world take a step up in awareness. We are ‘evolving’ and moving from the age of communication (5th Chakra) to a more spiritual centered society requiring clarity and vision (6th Chakra).

What we are witnessing in the world’s (and many of our own) “growth period’s” is the emergence of truth. Unfortunately to see the truth we must be brave and uncover the, more often than not, uncomfortable energies that we shoved away or pretended weren’t there instead of clearing them once and for good.

We are all being asked to free ourselves from the ambivalence and unconsciousness. We are being asked to step more into our awareness and aid others in doing the same. Evolution doesn’t have to be a revolution even if sometimes it feels that way.

We all have a role to play whether a healer, homemaker, financial guru, waiter/ess, etc. It doesn’t matter what you DO as much as opening up your awareness to who you ARE. We all have a gift to share with the world. It’s time to be present and aware and that means finding time to heal ourselves in the process.

It is time to take ownership for where we are and how we got to this place. It is time to uncover and discover and shine. It is time to be brave and awaken to those things we may not have wanted to see before. It’s also time to acknowledge the help we receive from the ascended masters, our angels and guides. We are not alone in this work and it cannot be completed without us.

How’s that for a message? There was much more but I wanted to share with you a few choice tidbits! What I will leave you with is this… Be curious. Ask questions. Awaken, accept, acknowledge and embrace not what you think is the truth but the real truth.
