All of us have certain inalienable rights. Each of us is an individual. We have different thoughts, vibrations, and goals. Each of us have the right to create something of our choosing. It’s a beautiful concept that we are all one, because we are, but at the same time our human experience allows us to be independent thinkers and creators. The creators, yes sometimes they are called the crazy ones or misfits, are the ones who forge their own path for the good of all.

If we didn’t have these creators and independent thinkers the internet would not exist. We would not have amazing books to read, rockets to the moon, cars, or even some of the things we may take for granted like electricity, telephones or running water in our homes.

We came here this lifetime to learn but also to allow others to learn from us. There are energies that we tap into which are part of the universe and the very earth itself. However, when you become dependent on someone or something outside of you in order to walk your path, it is not YOUR path! You have every right to embark upon the path you choose. This is about you declaring your right to be here. Your right to create. To add to whole.

Yes, we can swim in the sea of universal consciousness and allow those waters to flow through us but each of us has an individual consciousness and very unique vibration. It is up to each of us as individuals to choose (or not choose) how to live our lives.

If you are reading this, you have a body and it is your supreme right to make your own choices. You have the right to follow your dreams! You have the right to find what is true for you. You have the right to choose happiness. You have the right to be who you are and you certainly have the right to live and make conscious choices!

So in the tradition of the US Constitution preamble, declare YOUR independence!

“I (insert your name), in order to form a more perfect union with mind, body & spirit establish justice, insure personal tranquility, provide for happiness, promote and secure the blessings of freedom toward myself & others, do hereby declare that I have a right and deserve to live a conscious life filled with love, truth and infinite abundance.”

No one knows better than you what’s best for you so declare yourself! You have a right to your knowledge; your ability to see and communicate and listen to your inner voice. You have the right to create a beautiful life! You have the right to love and do what feels good. You have the right to create your dreams.

You have the right to have and express your emotions! You have the right to use ALL your abilities! Own who you are as a spiritual being in a body. Own that you have a right to be here and you have a lot to offer! Be who you truly are in thought, in deed and how your live your life.

On June 20, 2016 we will be blessed with the event of (almost) a lifetime. For the first time in 70 years the summer solstice falls on the same day as the full “strawberry” moon. Oh yes energy junkies this one is especially for you but we will ALL hit the cosmic jackpot!

The summer Solstice happens at 6:34pm. This is when the sun stands still at its northernmost point (as seen from Earth) and hangs there a bit before heading south again. The Solstice marks the longest “day”. In New York, for instance, there will be over 15 hours of sunlight.

As if that doesn’t light us up, once the sun sets we are graced with the brightest full moon of the year. The June 20th full moon, is the only night in the month when the moon is in the sky all evening long. What does all this mean for us?

June 20th we hit “cosmic gold”! There will be very little in darkness for the entire day or night. Emotions are running high and for most sensitives this is both a blessing and a curse. With both events on the same day it is important to remember your grounding. Take time in stillness to separate your energy and emotions from those around you. The sun and moon have the power to help you. Simply soak in the energy and give yourself permission to release.

With all this light you may experience a breakthrough with your awareness. Every time we turn our attention within we are, in a sense, exercising our awareness and just like a muscle, the more we exercise it, the stronger and brighter it gets. The cosmic arena and the space within you will be filled with sparks of brilliance.

Soaking up the solstice sun helps us melt away a few of our “optical delusions”. Once some of those filters have cleared we pave the way to open our hearts, minds and souls to seeing the truth.

Soaking up the light of full moon at this time helps us clear karmic patterns and bring forgiveness into our interpersonal relationships. Between the power of the sun and the moon and our commitment to our own growth, we clear the slate so we can begin again for the very first time.

We have a tremendous opportunity for setting intentions that will manifest in the days to come but this is not a time to sit back and let the universe decide. It’s our decision. It’s up to each of us to set our intentions clearly and create a space for manifesting. Once we do our part, the universe can do its job of bringing it to us. The power of the source is there but it all begins within you; The “mystic center around which all else revolves”. The harmony in your heart of hearts.
