The day we’ve all been talking about and waiting for is here. 12.21.12 or 21.12.12 (depending on how you write it in your part of the world) marks the end of the Mayan calendar. Whether you’re excited at the prospect of a new beginning or fear this pivotal day is the end of the world it will arrive and there is no question there is electricity in the air. Things are literally “charged” with energy as we, perhaps not so smoothly, end one cycle and move into another.

Back in January I wrote the post 2012: The Beginning of a New Age. In the post I talked about the “shake up to wake up” that was going to occur during the year. 2012 was indeed a year of shaking up! Interestingly enough we had a once in a lifetime Blue Moon and the Ring of Fire solar eclipse to add to the energy shake up and it’s also interesting to note that 12.21.12 is the winter solstice. It has truly been a tumultuous year for many and the (sometimes ugly) truth is coming out as we peel back the layers to once again free our inner light of divinity. There is no mistake that the earth and each of us is in a mega growth period and you may be one of the sensitive souls who is feeling and experiencing the profound energies at a core level.

Every ending comes with energy release…

In order to end a cycle and have a new beginning something else must end. As we move into the golden age of man (as I see it) it is no different. We are awakening to our divinity and coming back to what truly matters and sometimes the awakening feels a bit like a battle between light and dark. As we turn on the light what we didn’t see or chose not to see is revealed and when it happens there is a sense of blaming oneself or asking why you didn’t see it. We have lived our lives according to the status quo and didn’t really question it. Now we have access to a plethora of information and are questioning everything.

Our inter-personal relationships are changing and what we once accepted in now unacceptable. This past year has been one of releasing old thought patterns and energies some of which were so filled with resistance we released them kicking and screaming. Think of it like a volcano. The energies are churning and stirred up inside and the pressure builds up until it finally erupts. Did you experience what felt like volcanic eruptions in your life this year? That my friends is you releasing energies, thought patterns and programming you resisted!

12.21.12 is the beginning!

There are many theories to what’s going to happen on 12.21 and we’ve felt the build up and release of energy all year long. The beginning presents you an opportunity to awaken to a new level of consciousness. It is an opportunity to let of the status quo and follow your heart. It is time to awaken and plant seeds of consciousness in your life. Whether it was personal, events in the world at large or the earth shifts that have affected your life until this point you have a choice to make; Will you be part of the light or the darkness? Will you vibrate from a place of love or react in anger from a place of fear? Will you connect with your divinity and oneness or will you conquer and divide? It is your willingness to awaken and see the light. It is your willingness to be the light which creates a new beginning for all of us. They say it takes a village to raise a child. Aren’t we all children of God?

The Mayan calendar is cyclical and with every cycle there is a beginning and an end. We have reached the end and now it’s time for a new conscious beginning. Let us come together in light, in oneness and with peace. Let us awaken and seize the opportunity to begin anew. Let us connect with our divinity and live from our inner light. Let us be a peaceful village and raise the vibration on the planet as we enter the golden age of man!~Shine Your Light Debbie

Within you there is energy which is yours and energy or programming which is not. Everyone has something to work on and no one is perfect and immune. Sometimes these energies are so engrained in you that you don’t even realize there is an energy which quite possibly has affected you your whole life. You don’t have to be ‘sick’ to need a healing. You can be at a crossroads and/or in a place where you are wondering why you have difficulty manifesting in some area of your life. The latter is the hardest to meet head on because you have to take ownership that at some level YOU are getting in your own way due to holding on to the ‘perfect pictures’ you have created in your mind based on someone else’s truth or past pain.

When you have gone through or are going through a challenging time or having difficulty manifesting your hearts desire you have several choices. You can push the energy aside, pretend it isn’t there, blame someone else, ignore it altogether, stuff it deep down inside you or own it and clear it. You certainly can opt for one of the first five however keep in mind that unless you actually take ownership and clear the energy you will continue to harbor its effects which sometimes lasts for years or manifests into a real illness. Taking ownership does not mean blaming yourself for something that has happened nor does it mean condoning someone else’s (or your own) actions. To be clear I’m referring to taking ownership of YOUR energy and pictures.

Everything is energy and leaves an energy signature….

Have you given up space to an energy signature not your own? It might be as simple as you were trying to be a good little boy or girl when you were little and your replaced your own energy signature with that of your parents. It could mean that you toned down your energy with friends or co-workers therefore taking on the energy of ‘what is acceptable’ so people would like you and you would fit in. Every single moment of your life is filled with energy signatures including your thoughts and those of others. Healing is about clearing these ‘signatures’ and bringing in YOUR energy to take their place. Just like eating to keep your body fueled for physical energy, daily meditation , clearing out what is not you and filling yourself up with what IS you fuels the spirit and gives you more energy to create and manifest your dreams!

You can’t heal what you refuse to confront

In order to heal you must open Pandora’s box so to speak. You must face your deepest fears, uncover the lies placed upon you and take ownership of your own words and actions. You must face pain, sadness and sometimes even grief. When you find YOU and connect with your truth the lies come flying out and at times it feels like your living in Alfred Hitchcock’s famous movie “The Birds”. It is an eye-opening time which might even translate into painful moments as you finally see the truth, accept it and release the energy signature. Acceptance creates a powerful healing and again it doesn’t mean condoning. It means seeing and accepting the truth, releasing and filling up with forgiveness for yourself and others involved. Also, confronting your personal actions from the past doesn’t make you wrong. It’s important to forgive yourself and let go of any guilt because your actions were based on the information you had and where you were at the time.

All healing is self-healing and you must truly be willing to see the truth as opposed to the jaded version you’ve seen and acted upon through filters of pain, blame or guilt. Choosing to walk the path of healing is not easy and takes courage so remember to be extra gentle with yourself. As your pictures come up and you face them in quiet relection remember there are people who love you and support your journey. Remember also to fill up with the golden healing light of universal love.~Shine Your Light Debbie
