Everything is energy and we are all expanding. There’s a lot of talk these days about expansion. So what exactly is being talked about?

Encarta gives the definition of EXPANSION as; “The process of increasing, or increasing something, in size, extent, or scope. Act of expanding: the act or state of expanding, opening, or spreading out.” Also interesting are the synonyms listed: growth, development, increase, extension.

It is said that the universe is always expanding. It is in constant movement, growing and developing and thus it is the same with you! But…what exactly is expanding? How are we growing & developing? WHAT is increasing when we do expand?

Depending on the teacher or coach I’m sure there are many angles to ponder, however, for this blog I want to explore what is increasing and expanding for you as an individual and spiritual being. 1. YOUR AWARENESS 2. YOUR SPACE!

On each spiritual journey we are exploring as we grow. All this exploring does indeed expand our universe! We each have a universe to explore but it is NOT outside of us. It lies within and expands out!

As you explore your inner self you are increasing your awareness of WHO you really are and discovering your truth. The more you explore all that is YOU, the more you begin to recognize the energies, thought patterns, illusions or programming that is NOT!

By becoming more aware of yourself, the old patterns, energies and illusions will begin to fall away allowing you to bring in even more of YOU! Therefore, increasing awareness of YOU is the beginning of the expansion!

OK, you are increasing your awareness and bringing in more of you so what happens now? Well, all that inner transformation begins to “spill over” to the space around you. The energy space around you is your AURA! This is your SPACE.

When you fill up your space with YOU, your own personal, unique universe is expanding! You start to become or rediscover that you are indeed the master of your universe. You are growing and developing as a being which in turn allows you to expand WITHIN the universe.

The more of YOU in your space, the more you open your mind and allow in new wonderful experiences! You are able to create more and to have manifest your deepest desires. Your truth gets uncovered and shines around you lighting your way for more exploration!

Once you discover who you really are, you will begin, as T.S. Eliot said in The Little Gidding, to “know the place for the first time.” In other words, to see yourself and all that you are in a whole new light! Shine your light!~Debbie

The New Year is almost upon us! Where did the time go? Every year it seems as if time is moving faster. Wasn’t it just yesterday we were celebrating 2009? For me, the week between Christmas and New Years is one of reflection and calling back my energy from the past year. This year with Mercury in Retrograde there is even greater opportunity to revisit and gain a deeper insight from past experiences. Admittedly I’m no expert on Mercury Retrograde but it definitely effects technology, communication and allows us to reflect on the lessons we might have missed so we can begin to move forward again. Then, of course, it’s time to CELEBRATE AND RING IN THE NEW YEAR! So…let go of the old, call back energy from the past year (or even the past decade :-)) and ring in the NEW with style!

Now I know you’re planning to be dressed in your finest! Dressed to the 9’s to usher in a new decade! What if I told you that you can also be cloaked in the most beautiful bright multi colored gold you’ve ever seen?! Like the Kings & Queens of old, you can make your appearance surrounded in gold! Yes, you heard me, the most flattering and beautiful thing you can do is to get a hold of one of these gold bubbles! I’m going to pass along the information as to where to get this…and I can assure you that supplies are NOT limited! Here’s the best part…..IT’S FREE!! Not only that…I suspect you already have one! Yes, my friends, I’m talking about YOUR ENERGY BUBBLE! You guessed didn’t you? 🙂 Although I’m doing a bit of “musing” here, it’s really true! When you are in a bubble of your own energy there is NOTHING more attractive! With your energy flowing in and around you, you are a vision to behold!

Whether your going out or staying in this New Year’s eve, before you dress, take a moment to turn your attention within and reflect on 2009. I know ringing in a new year is exciting but this only takes a moment! 🙂 Whatever comes up for you LET IT GO! It’s in the past! No time like the present to lighten your load! As an aside, if you are making a resolution to lose weight this can be particularly effective. Once you let go, you can bring back all that is YOURS! Your energy is light and bright! Begin to call back any of your energy that may have been left behind and surround yourself in a gold bubble of light. Expand that bubble and see it get brighter! Feel the light around you! If you choose, you can even allow all those gold sparkles to flow through you! Feel the excitement in the air as you prepare to move forward into A BRAND NEW YEAR! Fill up every fiber in your being! The more of your energy you have, the more you will have to CREATE MORE! While you’re doing this, why not have a look at something AMAZING you’d like to create for the year! See it in all its beauty and perfection! Surround that in a gold bubble as well! From your own bright bubble let your creation float off into the universe and see what happens! Wow! Check YOU out…you’re all gold & sparkly AND you’ve already started creating for the New Year!

In 1850, Alfred, Lord Tennyson wrote “Ring out the old, ring in the new. Ring, happy bells, across the snow: The year is going, let him go; Ring out the false, ring in the true.” Your energy and all that you are IS true! So, before you dress in your most elegant clothes, dress yourself in your energy! The explosion of light you will be sporting will be brighter than the fireworks! Celebrate the New Year by celebrating and honoring YOU and your beautiful spirit!
