June Musings

Blessings and gifts abound in the month of June. The vibrations are shifting to make space for new, and even more vibrant, energies to come in. This started at May’s Full Moon and will continue for some time.

The challenge all of us have when new vibrations come in is finding our footing. We enter a space of “trying” to understand the meaning behind what’s going on in our lives. The best thing to do when you find yourself in this space is to stay open and curious. Explore the new vibrations and ask yourselves how you might learn from them.

Also have a look to see if you’re holding on to the vibrations making their way out. When there is “rocking and rolling” of energies at this level, the tendency is to hold on for dear life because that’s what’s most comfortable.

This month, instead of fighting the current, proving your point, or resisting what’s happening, try partnering with the creative flow of the earth and cosmos. Connect with your deepest desires and the things that bring you the most joy. Be open and available for what will most surely show up when you are in partnership with that which is. Notice what changes in your life and how you view the world….and speaking of the world…

World Environment Day June 5:

World Environment Day is a day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Each World Environment Day is organized around a theme that focuses attention on a particularly pressing environmental concern. The theme for 2018 is beating plastic pollution. New Moon June 13th:

New Moons represent the ending of one cycle and the beginning of a new one. June’s New Moon will not disappoint! According to Astrology King “the June 2018 New Moon gives good fortune and protection to yourself and your loved ones. It portends good fortune, lasting happiness and notoriety. A New Moon is a good time to set new goals so this is an especially good new moon to start a new project. The stars in particular give the skills needed to do well in business.”

I don’t know about you but with all the new vibrations stirring the pot a little good fortune and protection will be a “sight for sore eyes” as they say! How interesting I scheduled the self-empowerment meditation workshop for that night.

Summer Solstice June 21:

Woot! Summer arrives (or winter if you’re on the other side of the globe. Let your hair down and celebrate. When I look at the energy of this day in 2018 I’m seeing an excitement in the air. Pay attention to the news and other events. There’s something brewing that will show itself on or around this day. #prediction

Full Moon June 28:

Full Moons bring to light that which was previously hidden. Thoughts that seemed fuzzy or just beyond your clarity will come into focus. Due to the astrological influences on this full moon be ready for your emotions to bubble up as you find clarity and truth. This is a good time to tie up loose ends and check in with your “New Moon intentions” and goals. Let your emotions flow as you prepare to take your next step, whatever that might be.

Keep in mind that no matter what astrological influences are in play, they are meant as “guide posts” not “hitching posts”. You have the free will to joyfully welcome whatever comes your way and hard as it may be, set yourself on a path to freedom through forgiveness.

Summary:

This month is a month to soak up the good, good, good vibrations. Partner with the earth and the cosmos to create a new picture for yourself and the world. Embrace transformation and allow your intuition to guide you towards your next step!

Solar Eclipses are profound turning points that bring endings, new beginnings, and major changes.

New moons are all about making a “clean sweep” and creating new opportunities.

Separately these cosmic events pack a powerful punch. When they come together, we’re in for a few life-altering, power packed days!

Ready or not, eclipses have the power to literally ‘eclipse out’ things in your life that no longer serve you. In addition to the instant release, what you want and need is going to come crashing into your awareness with clarity. You can welcome these changes or resist them.

If you welcome the energy and rise to the challenges presented, you will maximize your potential to gently let go of what’s not working, live life on your own terms and flourish; You free up your valuable time and energy sooner. If you resist the challenges, the process could be painful and it’s going to take you a lot longer to move through them.

Everyone is being affected by this cosmic event so you are not alone! While I am not an astrologer I do read energy and in the days leading up to this eclipse I’ve been contacted by many people who are experiencing disturbing dreams, noticing unfounded fears and experiencing seemingly abrupt awakenings. “Instant awareness” can be a bit unnerving and disconcerting.

Since eclipses bring about endings and beginnings you may find clarity about past events. The answers you seek and those people or situations which are not in alignment with your path will become obvious. An eclipse will magnify and, in essence, show you the ‘cracks’ (and what seeped into those cracks) in your foundation.

As you find clarity during this powerful time you may step into your power and decide to embark upon a new path. Be aware that with every “step up” comes letting go and it may feel like you are grieving. This is a natural part of the process so embrace it and be where you are.

One more aspect to be aware of is Mercury begins its retrograde cycle in a few days. We are already feeling the effects of the slow down. There’s no better time for reflection and release. Resolve issues and end past agreements with love and forgiveness for yourself and others. Allow the powerful one two punch of the new moon and solar eclipse to give you strength and propel you into your new beginning!

Clarity is not only about seeing what has passed so you can resolve past issues. It is about seeing with clarity those things you wish to create. Having a clear picture of where you want to go and what you want to do helps you build a foundation for the future and there is no better time than today to harness the power of the eclipse to help you do that!

There are many more astrological aspects to this eclipse in Virgo but I’ll leave those to the wonderful star gazers and astrologers out there. The information presented is for you to know that eclipses cause abrupt awakenings and transformations. Take comfort in knowing the new moon helps you make a “clean sweep” and coupled with the eclipse, you are being offered the opportunity to create new beginnings.
